Neateo! Is that a word? hee hee I've always wanted to go to Mexico and float through the underground cave and river system. This area may just have to take over my prior desire. Any room for me in your suitcase?

Kevin, Great content and writing both. Rosarita beach is as far into Mexico as I have been. Yes, I know. I missed the good areas. Maybe in the future.

Thanks for your comments last night about Ubranding. This education is priceless. By the way I owned a travel agency for 22 years and took many cruises. I loved them but your right about being trapped. It is not for "I can't sit very long" people. It is a way to get papered beyond belief and 'test" destinations before going on a more extended stay. Great blog and have a prosperous 2009.

Kevin, What a surprise to see your site pop up during Brooke's IM course! I'm a local so anytime you or a UF agent visit the island, let me know! P.S. Playing golf in 80 degree sunny weather today means working the business at night! Key West Claire

I used to be in the cruise industry and we would visit Key West every other week. It was my favorite port of call as it was our only US port besides our home port in Cape Canaveral. There was always something going on including the street performers at night. The beaches are great and the snorkeling is wonderful. Incredible places to eat and the culture is very different than anywhere else in the country. I hope you are able to get your vacation home soon, and be sure to invite me for a visit. :)

Living in Arizona, one hour by plane to San Diego and 6 hours or so by car, I am somewhat, OK, I am very spoiled. Key West resort or cruise. In February either sounds wonderful. I've done a cruise and loved it. You don't get to spend a lot of time on land, but you see a lot. Lots to do on the ship and great food. Have you thought about a sailing ship cruise. My ex did this years ago and loved it. So what's it to be, resort or cruise? Time is a wasting.

Kevin,
I went to Key West for my honeymoon so I can see why you like them. My mother and her husband operated a sunset dinner boat ride, so they were locals down there.

It looks nice and warm!

Sounds like a really great place for vacation, and especially to have a winter home there! I hope that becomes a reality for you soon! Maybe you'll take my family in for a vacation there sometime! Just kidding...my crew is not made out for vacationing with anyone else, except other families used to chaos!
I had no idea that the sand is imported! Very interesting!
Your blog looks great...very inviting!
Keep in touch!
